When a timeslot is completely booked, the Waitlist feature allows customers to still make an appointment and take a chance at securing the service. If an approved appointment is canceled or rescheduled by a customer, those on the Waitlist can then book and confirm their slots.
It’s convenient for waitlisted customers because as soon as the first customer cancels or changes their appointment, that slot becomes available, and an email notification is sent to all waitlisted customers. The first one to confirm from the waitlist gets the spot, unless another cancellation occurs. This system not only saves time and costs for your business but also ensures that when one customer cancels, another can quickly fill that slot, maintaining a steady flow of appointments. Therefore, cancellations won’t disrupt your business; instead, they can enhance its efficiency.
