The FacetWP Hierarchy Select add-on lets users set up guided dropdown filters for hierarchical taxonomies like categories or tags. It allows for filtering results according to a hierarchical layout, showcasing parent terms followed by their child terms in an organized and easy-to-navigate way. This add-on automatically indexes both explicit and implicit term hierarchies, so even if only a child term is chosen, posts can still appear if a parent term is selected in the filter.
