When a customer places a product in their cart but fails to finalize the purchase, the cart will be labeled as “abandoned” after a predetermined period. This extension will then initiate the process of sending recovery emails or Facebook messages to remind the customer to complete their order.
If a user adds an item to their cart but doesn’t proceed to checkout, the cart will be marked as “abandoned” after a specified duration. WooCommerce Abandoned Cart Recovery captures essential cart details such as the date the item was added, the customer’s email address, the items in the cart, the total amount, the cart’s status, and the IP address. This information is then utilized to reach out to the customer, provide a discount, and encourage them to complete their purchase.
