The wpDiscuz Private Comments addon is a user-friendly tool that enables commenters to create private comment threads. These threads can be accessed by website administrators, moderators, and the original thread owners. The addon includes a small button next to the comment submit button that allows users to mark their comments as private. Additionally, a [Private] button is added to parent comments, enabling them to be made private after submission. You can choose to display or hide the private comment buttons for specific user roles in the dashboard. Furthermore, it allows you to assign certain user roles the ability to moderate private comments. This feature can be toggled on or off for specific Comment Forms, which is useful if you have multiple custom comment forms for different post types.
