The Paid Memberships Pro VAT Tax Addon introduces a new section on the Membership Checkout form called ‘VAT for European Union Residents’. Customers can choose their EU country from a drop-down menu or input their VAT number to exempt themselves from the tax. The VAT number is verified using the SOAP service from the European Commission. Our plugin automatically calculates VAT rates based on the fixed rates established by the European Commission.
